From the dataset abstract

This dataset is associated with the dynamic report titled Recipients of guarantee pension and average amount of pension received, which is part of the Kelasto statistical database. It contains end-of-year data starting from 2011 and monthly data from 2018.

Included among the recipients are persons who have been paid guarantee pension at a rate exceeding EUR 0 for and during the relevant reference month. The average amount of pension represents the arithmetic mean of guarantee pension payments for and during the reference month.

The data are broken down according to the recipient's gender, age and municipality of residence and the basis of pension. The basis of pension indicates the basis on which the guarantee pension has been granted. For national pension recipients, the basis for the guarantee pension is always recorded as national pension even if they also are in receipt of other pensions.
